4: I have put some superb contemporary New Zealand art glass on ebay this week. Most people seem to like paperweights and perfume bottles, so there are some truly delightful pieces by Peter Raos, Garry Nash, Peter Viesnik, and Keith Mahy. You can see a preview at and they are all put up without reserve. Some don't even have any bids yet.

5: Keith Mahy is a New Zealand glass artist you may not be familiar with. He was one of the first to build a glass studio in this country, way back in the mid 1970s, and before that he was a designer for Crown Crystal Glass. You can see an article about his work at

6: Our glass on ebay this week includes (click on any one to see the pictures)
- a Peter Viesnik lemon glass perfume bottle
- a Keith Mahy ruby perfume bottle
- Peter Viesnik blue and green paperweight
- blue and gold leaf paperweight by Garry Nash (the last one I have)
- art glass fish necklace by Peter Viesnik
- a small textured candlestick designed by Geoffrey Baxter for Whitefriars Glass
- for those homesick for "God's Own Little Country" - a glass kiwi by Hokitika Glass
